Well as you can see we did plan to come back for Modern Warfare 2 but larK and Wsmtt have now decided against it.

larK no longer has an interest in running the clan, he'd rather be out and about with good looking women

Wsmtt has got his business to run and has also found a greater interest in... other things...

So this is another good bye from RaW.uk!



We may be back, but I doubt it, with myself and Megagold5 aiming to go to Uni. Jonah looking at buying a new place and Method disappearing off the face of the earth it's quite unlikely...

It's been fun.

Due to moving into Modern Warfare 2, well at least most of us are, I decided to update the site again.

I used it as a test dummy for another community, you know whats really cool though?! ONLY MEMBERS CAN SEE THIS

I am still seeking admin assistance for Jonah due to myself & Megagold not being able to afford the game for some time. If you are interested place a comment below.

Plus anyone whose good at graphics would be kind enough to do us a banner I'd be grateful, the one I've done is pretty basic!

Moving backwards, errors, cant recall the ammount of times ive recieved errors, alot of them relate to directx, graphical problems.

A simple solution, turn your graphic settings to default generally stops you error(ing) as much. I managed to complete the waterfall singleplayer campaign by doing this

I myself, managed to turn my settings right up to high, leaving anti alias at default, and the other settings on automatic or off. I also had depth of field off as if you didnt know this, it blurs vision in grass for a more realistic effect.

I hope this helps some of you, i spent sometime coming up for temporary fixes. I just hope Infinity Ward pull their thumbs out their arseholes and admit their are problems, because so far, they havent even bothered to respond to the PC gaming community!]]> tezcouzens@googlemail.com (Terry Couzens)
IGN's own reader review section features over twelve pages of negative scores for the PC version, averaging out to a measly 1.7 compared to the 9.4 press average.

Things are not looking to good on retailer Amazon, either. The user review average is at one and half stars out of five, with over 100 one star reviews. The average user rating on Metacritic is at a low 1.3, with over 1,300 users voicing their displeasure.

Any PC owners believe these reviews are fair or uncalled for?

The Left 4 Dead 2 demo features gameplay taken from "The Parish" campaign, set in the New Orleans French Quarter. Playable by 1 to 4 players over local or Internet connections, the demo features new melee weapons and all the new boss infected zombies included in the full product.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Euro Domination has created a new forum area whereby users of the community can suggest new games to be supported by Euro Domination . A number of the games already suggested aren’t supported by the traditional anti-cheat system used by Euro Domination in the past – Punkbuster. Instead more and more of the popular and upcoming games – including the eagerly anticipated Modern Warfare 2 – are supported by Valve’s ‘VAC’ anti-cheat on the Steam network.

Euro Domination will be supporting Modern Warfare 2.

Euro Domination will have an Open Ladder available for Modern Warfare 2 shortly after release.

Show your interest now by joining the Modern Warfare 2 Interest Check. We have extra individual and team competitions planned if enough interest is generated. You can add your team to the ‘Interest Check’ by visiting the Competition Signup page.

Shortly before the ladder goes live, we will publish rules, guidelines and documentation on how to use the matchmaking system – IWNET.

As of yet, no other games are planned to be added to Euro Domination. However, a couple of the requested games and a couple of upcoming releases are still being discussed and debated.


Steam and VAC Support

Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding support to the website for Steam and VAC. This includes:

- Updated rules.
- Updated FAQ.
- Guides and documentation for using Steam and VAC.
- The ability to add your Steam username to your profile.
- The ability to add your SteamID to your profile.
- Updated Bans section.

We are also looking to strike a partnership with an anti-cheat website which support VAC, an equivalent of PBBans.


Euro Domination Steam Group

We now have a Steam Group for Euro Domination which can be found here. There is not a limit on the group capacity, so any member of the Euro Domination community who has a Steam account can join.

The Steam Group will be used for similar purpose as our X-Fire group. It is not yet decided whether we will use both groups, or just the one. With an upcoming change to the admin team infrastructure planned, we should be able to support both.


Ladder Update

With the arrival of a new game (and possibly many more) it is time for a well overdue update to the Euro Domination Ladder. The changes will be implemented in time for the arrival of the Modern Warfare 2 ladder. Confirmed updates include:

- Ladder matches to be played at any time of the day (change).
- Scoring system fixed so that winning teams can not lose points (fix).
- Penalties for inactive teams, including point reductions (change).
- Clan profile to now show the team’s position in each competition (fix).

Possible (unconfirmed) updates:

- The ability to edit/amended an unaccepted open challenge.
- The ability to set a negative value for the open challenge deadline.
- Rewards for success in the Ladder.
- Signature mini-profile to show your clan’s stats and competition positions.

Some of the ‘possible’ updates may not feature in the Ladder update due to time constraints.
